Automated Clock Synchronization System

This personal project originated from my fascination with precision timekeeping and synchronization challenges in large facilities.

My goal was to design a mechanical system that could synchronize multiple clocks throughout a building while minimizing power consumption and maintenance requirements.

The project involved extensive CAD modeling in AutoCAD, prototyping with 3D-printed components, and testing various gear ratios to achieve optimal performance.

Vintage Automaton Restoration

Restoration Engineering, Mechanical Analysis 2024

As part of a small team at Montparnasse Engineering Group, I contributed to the restoration of a 19th-century mechanical automaton for a private collector.

The project required careful analysis of the original mechanisms, reverse engineering of damaged components, and fabrication of replacement parts that matched historical specifications while incorporating modern materials for improved durability.

The restoration combined traditional craftsmanship with modern CAD design and precision machining techniques to bring the automaton back to working condition.
